How it works
Calls that are made to a Side-Line number are flagged in the Caller ID so the subscriber can tell that the call was placed to their Side-Line number. Subscribers can initiate a call from their primary number or their Side-Line number. They won’t find a more flexible way to manage their calls.
And it’s not just phone calls. Text messages can also be sent and received to a Side-Line number.

With Side-Line Service, subscribers can now easily separate their business calls and personal calls and messages. Subscribers can choose to divert Side-Line calls to a separate voicemail box when preferred. For example, if the Side-Line number is their business number, they can choose to have those calls sent to voicemail in the evenings and weekends.
Side-Line numbers are also billed separately, so customers can monitor the costs of their personal and business calls. This makes it easy for employers to make sure they are not paying for personal calls.
What it means for you
Side-Line Service provides you with a solution to meet a real market demand. A June 2010 U.S.-based study by Frost & Sullivan showed that more than 60% of individuals with multiple phones would like to have the ability to converge multiple phone numbers onto a single device. Additionally, approximately 25% of those with only one phone would consider adding a second line.
Side-Line Service was designed to meet this exact need. With Side-Line Service, you not only can increase your ARPU but also expand your overall market share.
